Curated by Camille Morineau and Jean-Marie Gallais, the exhibition presents a comprehensive overview of Sch\u00fctte&#8217;s multifaceted career, featuring nearly fifty sculptures from the Pinault Collection, along with numerous loans and over one hundred works on paper, many of which are being displayed for the first time.\u200b Sch\u00fctte&#8217;s work, known for its unsettling and ironic examination of the human condition, spans various mediums, including sculpture, architectural models, photography, drawing, and printmaking. The exhibition is organized non-chronologically, highlighting recurring motifs and the evolution of forms throughout his career. Central to the exhibition are Sch\u00fctte&#8217;s figures\u2014often caricatured and emotionally charged\u2014crafted from materials such as clay, wax, ceramics, glass, steel, and bronze.
