Seven screens disperse the narrative instead of containing it within a single viewpoint. In The Peacock’s Graveyard, Amar Kanwar brings images, fables and oral histories into a meditation on disappearance and the fragility of existence. Viewers must connect these fragments without possessing them all: looking becomes an exercise in attending to what passes.
