In Davos, Human Atmospheres rejects the idea of a screen that merely illustrates data. Real-time Alpine conditions and the presence of visitors become forces within a digital landscape that has no final composition. The system behaves less like an image than an environment: it senses, drifts, and redistributes attention among weather, bodies, and computation. Tanchum gives perceptible form to an urgent political question: what does it mean to inhabit an environment when its transformations are jointly produced by climate, infrastructure, and autonomous agents?
