Generative flows and bodily presences form an ocean to inhabit rather than a surface to contemplate. The work asks why we readily attribute agency to machines while withholding it from natural systems. This poetic proposition does not establish that water is conscious; it unsettles the criteria through which we distribute attention and consideration.
