Commissioned for the 2026 Diriyah Biennale, Hold combines a forty-five-minute video with a structure of fabric, poles and cables. Three projections surround a space where visitors can settle. Hands, holding and linguistic expressions organise an inquiry into how we relate to the world.
Speech belongs to the artwork itself. This excerpt offers an embodied line of thought: does understanding mean holding on, or might it require loosening our grip?
