Rudy Lemcke — Moons of Jupiter: Ganymede (2026)

One channel of a four-part projection in which desire takes the form of a planet that cannot be fixed.

Ganymede is one of four channels in Moons of Jupiter (2026), a video installation arranged around an absent centre. Each moon translates a condition of desire—emptiness, projection, repetition or the unreachable—without reducing it to a stable symbol; the orb remains unresolved and open to the viewer’s projection.

Location and documentation: Official excerpt online on Vimeo, published by the artist on 1 October 2026; the exhibition venue for this version is not specified.

Artist: Rudy Lemcke is a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary artist and curator whose practice connects video, projection and networked technologies.
