In the rice fields of Munduk, Bali, Vincent Leroy places a moving assembly of Fresnel lenses. Their off-centre rotations break up the landscape and rearrange its lines.
Eccentric Lenses produces no fixed image: reflections and distortions follow the mechanism’s rhythm. The landscape becomes an unstable, fragmented optical material.
