Haitham Al Busafi — Zīnah (Adornment), Venice (2026)

At Oman’s pavilion, visitors walk across sand while suspended elements inspired by equestrian jewellery respond through movement and sound. Members of Omani communities engraved some of the silver elements.

Adornment becomes a relational device. The installation proposes considering the horse as a partner and physically experiencing connections between individual gestures, collective memory and care.
