Archival documentation. In Regenerative Reliquary (2016), Amy Karle turns the bioreactor into a sculptural apparatus: a 3D-printed hydrogel scaffold follows the architecture of a hand and is designed to host stem cells. The work shifts the relic from a dead body toward a possible, fabricated and living body, making care, medical speculation and artistic responsibility inseparable.
