In the Basel version of muddy codes & soft infrastructures (2026), Daniela Brugger makes tangible the human labour concealed behind AI and content moderation. A small screen, an eye and wall text shift attention from the machine to bodies exposed to violent imagery.
Brugger develops an installation- and research-based practice attentive to technical infrastructures. The work is shown in Labouring Bodies at Museum Tinguely, Basel, Switzerland, from 10 June to 8 November 2026; this documentation was published in September 2026.
