A steel cloud floats in the harbour. Its reflective facets fragment the buildings, sky and water; lines of neon run through this open structure as daylight fades. In Cumulus Structure, Gregor Kregar sets the precision of a geometric construction against the instability of its surroundings. The pontoon gently follows the water’s movement, while reflections unsettle the metal’s apparent solidity. Where does the sculpture end when its image extends into the harbour?
