In Fractal Swarm, Vincent Leroy combines carbon fibre, 3D-printed elements, bearings and mirror film. Presented in a Tanzanian landscape, this lightweight construction multiplies reflective fragments.
The video connects the sculpture’s movement with the viewer’s shifting gaze. Its surfaces catch pieces of the surrounding environment, then release them: the object seems to redistribute the landscape as much as occupy it.
