Eighty reflective modules turn a façade into a moving boundary with its surroundings.

A grid of mirrors appears to extend the façade, yet each fragment shifts the landscape it receives. Figures, trees and light divide into unstable images. In Fragmented Reflections, XTO turns the reflective surface into a moving boundary between architecture and its surroundings: the place is recomposed as its elements move.

Created in 2021 in Villemur-sur-Tarn, France, this kinetic installation consists of eighty stainless-steel modules on a dismantlable metal structure, covering 3.55 × 4.5 metres. The video posted by the artist on September 21, 2026 provides direct documentation; its upload date is separate from the artwork’s creation.

XTO is the artist name of Christo Guelov, who is based in Madrid and graduated in Graphic Arts from Complutense University. His practice brings together installations in public space, movement and investigations of perception.
